A winter wonderland in NYC. Post Nemo.
*sighing a sigh of relief*
it’s been a busy, stressful, and project filled past couple of months, which may or may not explain my absence from tumblr. then there is also instagram, which i am completely obsessed with. (follow me at meibebabe). but supposedly the universe is stepping up to meet me halfway on progress, which is so long due i may have abandoned it a long ways down the road. but i will cling onto this thin string of hope.
As I lie here in the dark, fighting insomnia, browsing tumblr, I realized that I’ve somehow been skipping on the shoulder & not strolling on the main road. I don’t know when I veered off but I don’t like it. Now is not the time to be distracted, regardless if LIFE happened. Need to focus & get back on track.
“Things are happening.” The universe is damn right.

It may have seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime chance - but if you missed it, then it wasn’t…
2012: Start looking for the silver lining in tough situations. – When things are hard, and you feel down, take a few deep breaths and look for the silver lining – the small glimmers of hope. Remind yourself that you can and will grow stronger from these hard times. And remain conscious of your blessings and victories – all the things in your life that are right. Focus on what you have, not on what you haven’t.
It’s Thanksgiving. Have a grateful one!
